I thought maybe this was a case of this computer just not being powerful enough to run the game, which if that's the case so be it, but I threw H2Overdrive onto Teknoparrot on it and it ran like a champ. It's not a beefy computer by any means, but up until this point it's worked great.īut here's the odd thing, Mario Kart starts up fine, gets through the character, item and track selection screens, but once the game tries to load the chosen track and begin a race the screen goes black and it crashes back to the desktop. The computer I have under the hood is a DELL Optiplex 9020. I've gotten the game running super great on an older ASUS PC here, but recently built a racing rig and wanted to get it running on it. Mario Kart: Arcade GP DX is a third-person kart racer developed and released by Namco Bandai (in conjunction with Nintendo) for arcades (using PC-based Namco System ES3 hardware) in Japan on July 25, 2013.
I had a weird issue pop up last night with Mario Kart DX that I hadn't experienced before that I wanted to float by the group here.
